In this article, we will delve into the features, benefits and of the Lucyd Lyte Eclipse XL smart audio sunglasses and explore why they are a good accessory for anyone who values both style and convenience.
Style Meets Functionality
When it comes to sunglasses, style is undoubtedly a top priority for many people. With the Lucyd Lyte Eclipse XL, you don’t have to compromise on fashion to enjoy the benefits of smart audio technology. These sunglasses boast a sleek and modern design, making them the perfect accessory for any outfit or occasion.
Available in a variety of lens colors and options, including prescription lenses, the Lucyd Lyte Eclipse XL allows you to customize your sunglasses to suit your personal style and visual needs. I chose a polarized lens as the one I would wear most often, then ordered alternate lenses. In the video we discuss how easy it is to swap out lenses for blue light blocking or even transitional.
But the style of the Lucyd Lyte Eclipse XL is just the tip of the iceberg. These sunglasses offer functionality with a few simple controls to master. With up to 12 hours of battery life, you can enjoy uninterrupted music, calls, and digital assistant interactions throughout the day. Say goodbye to constantly charging your devices or carrying around bulky headphones – the Lucyd Lyte Eclipse XL has it all in one wearable package.
Seamless Voice Control
Interacting with your sunglasses may sound like something out of a sci-fi movie, but with the Lucyd Lyte Eclipse XL, it’s a reality. Thanks to the built-in voice recognition technology, you can control your audio experience with simple voice commands. Just say the magic words, and your sunglasses will be at your beck and call.
Imagine going for a jog and wanting to switch to your favorite running playlist. Rather than fumbling with your phone or smartwatch, you can simply say, “Hey Lucyd, play my running playlist,” and the music will start playing directly in your sunglasses. It’s as easy as that.
But the voice control feature doesn’t stop at music. You can also make hands-free calls and send messages without lifting a finger. Simply say, “Hey Lucyd, call Mom,” and your sunglasses will connect you to your loved ones with crystal-clear audio quality. It’s like having a personal assistant right on your face.
What Is In the Box?
Included with the packaging for the Lucyd Lyte Eclipse XL glasses is a wall charging brick, which was a great surprise, a cleaning cloth, a small carrying pouch and the charging cable. A special note should be made here that we also show in the YouTube video. This cable has two magnetic clips that connect to each arm of the glasses for charging. With this very specific cable, you will need to include it in your packing if you plan on going more than a day away from it. There is no other way to recharge them without it.
Charging took a few hours to reach a full charge, and the red indicator light on each arm goes out when fully charged. I tried to find a way to know what charge levels were left while using them, but did not find that in the documentation.
When you disconnect them from the charger they will turn on and ready for pairing, or usage if already paired. A side note that I found when testing is that a single long button hold turns off the glasses, but you must turn on each arm individually in regular use.
Interacting with ChapGPT
The Lucyd Lyte Eclipse XL takes smart audio sunglasses to the next level by integrating ChapGPT via the Lucyd app, an advanced language model, into its functionality. ChapGPT is an AI-powered digital assistant that can answer questions, provide information, and engage in natural conversations.
With the Lucyd Lyte Eclipse XL, you can ask ChapGPT anything you want. Whether you’re curious about the weather forecast, need directions to a nearby restaurant, or want to know the latest news headlines, ChapGPT has all the answers. And the best part? You can have these conversations discreetly, as the buttons for interaction are small and unobtrusive.
Conclusion (or should I buy this?)
Whether you’re a tech enthusiast, a busy professional, or someone who simply loves the convenience of smart devices, the Lucyd Lyte Eclipse XL smart audio sunglasses are an innovation worth checking out. With their stylish design, long battery life, seamless voice control, and integration with ChapGPT, these sunglasses are truly in a league of their own. Your eyes will thank you, and your tech-savvy friends will be envious of your stylish accessory.
